On Friday April 15th, 2016, I presented our progress to date in a 1 hour seminar hosted as part of the University of Alaska Anchorage College of Engineering Seminar Series. We had a full house with in Room 211 of the Engineering & Industry Building with just over 30 in attendance and a number of people also joined us online! During this talk we recap Phase 2 and introduce Phase 3 progress along with our system improvements to date.
The seminar was recorded and hosted on YouTube at https://youtu.be/E4myxyOSn3U
Further, this presentation was a great way for our team to gear up for the upcoming 2016 Alaska Water and Wastewater Management Association Conference. On Wednesday April 20th, 2016 there will be an entire track of the conference dedicated to Water Reuse. In this session our team as well as the other teams (DOWL/CDM Smith & Summit) participating in the Alaska Water Sewer Challenge and the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation will be sharing their progress. The session will also allow for the opportunity to spend the day discussing potential regulatory challenges, demonstration system expectations and more. Your welcome to join us at the conference if you are interested! You can register online HERE and join us at the Captain Cook on Wednesday!
In next week’s blog post we will summarize what we learned from the conference for you.
